Meet APCAS graduates and learn how their time on campus shaped their careers and service to the community.
From her undergraduate days, Annie Rose D. Reyes has been a beacon of excellence at APCAS. A proud alumna, she graduated magnifying the ideals of her batch in 2014 as a magna cum laude—a prelude to the dedication she would bring to her professional life. Her pursuit of knowledge recently culminated with the successful completion of her Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) on September 14, 2025. A lifelong learner, she is not just an achiever but a dedicated educator, holding the title of LPT (Licensed Professional Teacher). Now, Ms. Annie is illuminating a new path as the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of Library Services. In this vital role, she doesn't just manage books; she stewards the very heart of academic discovery for our community. Her journey is a heartwarming testament to the APCAS spirit: one of continuous learning, professional growth, and selfless service.

APCAS became the place where steady effort was valued, allowing me to develop the discipline and resilience that shaped my journey. Under the guidance of mentors who taught me the value of consistency, I learned to trust the process even when progress felt gradual. The nursing program provided a strong foundation through structured instruction and clinical exposure, emphasizing professionalism and critical thinking. Grounded in faith and the support of my community, I gained the confidence to transition from nursing to medicine. The discipline and perspective I developed at APCAS continue to guide my practice as a physician today.

APCAS has helped me throughout my college years in many meaningful ways. Through the quality teaching provided by the dedicated and supportive faculty, the College of Allied Health Sciences staff, I was able to build a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in my chosen field. The Revalida and Course Audit that we were required to comply with challenged me to stay focused, disciplined, and committed to my studies. The pre-boards and mock boards were also a big help, as they prepared me mentally and academically for the actual board examination by giving me confidence and familiarity with the exam process. Beyond academics, APCAS also made my college life enjoyable and memorable through different school activities and events. The intramurals, the year-end parties and foundation day celebrations allowed us to relax, bond with our classmates, and create lasting memories. Because of these experiences, APCAS did not only shape me academically, but also helped me grow personally and socially.

The values I gained from my classmates, the skills I acquired from my instructors, and the knowledge I received at APCAS have supported me throughout my career. If I could describe APCAS in one word, it would be Transformative. We grew through the influence of those around us—friends, classmates, and instructors alike. They inspired us to create art and to build something unique that empowers us to reach for our dreams.
