Admission Requirements (Basic Education)
The APCAS Basic Education Department accepts qualified learners for Junior High School (Grades 7–10) and Senior High School (Grades 11–12) in accordance with the policies and guidelines of the Department of Education (DepEd). Applicants must submit the following requirements for admission:
- Original Learner's Progress Report (SF9) or Report Card with eligibility for the grade level being applied for
- Original Certificate of Good Moral Character (with school seal), signed by the principal or guidance counselor
- PSA Birth Certificate (scanned copy)
- ESC Certificate (for Junior High School transferee)
- Certificate of Transfer (for Senior High School transferee)
Admission Requirements (College)
Graduates of DepEd- and TESDA-accredited institutions, as well as transferees from CHED-recognized higher education institutions, may be considered for admission as first-year students or transferees, respectively, upon submission of the required documents to the Admissions Office.
For Freshman Applicants
- Grade 12 Report Card (SF9) with eligibility for college admission, signed by the school principal
- Certificate of Good Moral Character (with school seal), signed by the principal or guidance counselor
- Certification of Honors (for honor graduates only), indicating the honors received and class size, signed by the principal
- PSA Birth Certificate (scanned copy)
For Transferee and Second Course Applicants
- Certified True Copy of Grades or Certification of Grades, signed by the School Registrar
- Honorable Dismissal with Copy of Grades
- Original or Certified True Copy of Detailed Course Descriptions (for subject crediting, if applicable)
- PSA Birth Certificate (scanned copy)
- PSA Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
Document Retention and Transfer Credentials
All documents submitted as requirement for admission to the College including SF9 (High School Report Card) and SF10 (Learner Permanent Record) shall not be returned to student for any reason but not limited to transferring to another school or withdrawal of enrolment. The College shall issue, upon request, transfer credentials after accomplishing a clearance form, thus settlement of academic/non academic requirement and financial obligations to the College as stated in the Certificate of Registration (COR).
All transfer applicants are required to render two (2) semester residency before an application for graduation can be accepted.
Shifting of Programs
Students may be allowed to apply for shifting program upon the approval of the deans of the two programs.
- All shifters (old APCAS students TRANSFERRING from one program to another) have to secure a Shifting Form from the Office of the Registrar and secure respective approvals of the deans of the two programs.
- Attach Parent/Guardian's Letter of Consent on the shifting form before securing approval of the concerned deans. The accepting Dean signs the Shifting Form should the student meet all admission requirements of the program.
- After approval, provide the Registrar and Accounting their respective copies of the shifting form.
- Application of shifting is allowed only on or before the start of any term.
- For Board Programs, minimum grade qualification may be set by the receiving dean/program head.
- The latest approved curriculum of the receiving program shall apply during evaluation.
Student Returnee
The following steps shall apply for student returnee.
- Secure Clearance Form from the Registrar's Office and have it signed by the concerned department heads as stated in the clearance form.
- After presenting the signed clearance, request for an Evaluation Form from the Registrar's Office.
- Proceed to course advising by the dean or registrar or APRC. Strictly follow the prescribed enrollment procedure as posted.
